We are beyond excited to finally introduce ourselves personally as the new local leaders of the IxDF Berlin Chapter. We (Lisanne, Vanessa, Young, and Yashvir) are looking forward to meet you all in person 👋
We also invite you to introduce yourself here in the comment, tell us who you are, your current job profile, and most importantly, your main interest in being part of this thriving design community so we can start the conversation! We can't wait to learn more about you and your passions.
To kick start this journey together, we're organizing a casual meet and greet event on Saturday the 8th of July. The idea is to get to know each other, connect and get your ideas about what is expected from this group. Bring your drinks and sunscreen for the event 😊

I will start with a short introduction about myself and would encourage others who are joining to also let us know about them.
I am Yashvir, a product designer who recently switched (and still trying to) to product management.
At the moment I am unemployed and taking this time to work on myself, doing some UX mentorship to help those who are trying to make it to this space and going a bit entrepreneurial by researching on a Problem to see if I can build digital solutions to solve it.
My main interest: Supporting early designers to upskill and learn from seniors :)
😁 Fun fact about me: I was inspired to choose digital design space at the age of 11 when I saw an interview of youngest web designer in India, she was just 9 years old that time and already designed and developed multiple websites. That made me believe that age is just a number and I started my career at the age of 14.

👋 Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to virtually meet you all! My name is Young, and I'm a product designer based in Schöneberg, Berlin. Originally from South Korea, I embarked on a journey of studying and working in various cities before finally settling down in Berlin in 2016.
Throughout my product design career, I have primarily focused on fintech and banking products. However, I recently made a transition into the aviation industry. Alongside my daily design work, I have a deep passion for assisting my fellow designers. For this reason, I am currently involved in the development of two communities: IxDF with Yash, Lisanne and Vane, and another community called Berlin Design Events, in collaboration with my friend Juan.
A delightful fact about my life—I share my home with an adorable 11-year-old pug named Jacques. While he may be a bit shy when meeting new people for the first time, he is incredibly lovable. Perhaps you'll have the chance to meet Jacques at one of our upcoming cozy meetups.
