📋 Description
- Develop a deep understanding of healthcare customers, their workflows, challenges, and goals.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineering teams to identify customer problems and define user-centered solutions.
- Lead the design process from discovery and ideation through wireframes, prototypes, and polished user interfaces.
- Create user flows, journey maps, information architecture, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Conduct and participate in user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to validate designs and gather insights.
- Translate customer and business requirements into intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to break down solutions into incremental releases that deliver value over time.
- Advocate for the user while balancing business objectives and technical constraints.
- Contribute to and help evolve design systems, design standards, and UX best practices.
- Present design concepts, rationale, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Analyze feedback and product metrics to continuously improve the user experience.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–4 years of experience designing digital products and user experiences.
- Portfolio demonstrating a strong design process, problem-solving approach, and impactful UX solutions.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and UX best practices.
- Experience conducting or supporting user research and usability testing efforts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to receive and incorporate feedback while advocating for user needs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Understanding of Agile product development methodologies and common software development practices.
- Experience designing SaaS products or healthcare technology solutions (preferred).
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles (preferred).
- Experience working within established design systems (preferred).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts (preferred).
- Experience collaborating closely with Product Management and Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment (preferred).
- Experience using data and analytics to inform design decisions (preferred).
