Job Description

Description

We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Visual Designer to join our Creative Studio team in a temporary capacity. In this role, you'll support the development of compelling visual assets across digital and print, helping to elevate our brand and bring creative concepts to life.

This is a temporary position with variable hours ranging from 0–25 hours per week, depending on project needs and business demand. Weekly schedules may fluctuate, so we're seeking someone who is adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working within a flexible workload.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We've been building businesses on [REDACTED] for more than 15 years and we continue to be on the forefront as [REDACTED] platforms evolve. We're uncomfortable calling ourselves experts - since [REDACTED] is always changing, we're constantly adapting - but the breadth of our knowledge is vast and our team's diverse experiences elevate our partners' businesses. We're marketers, advocates, data scientists, supply chain managers, Amazonians, advertisers and merchants. But most importantly, we're brand builders. Let's build brands together.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We're looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Visual Designer with a strong aesthetic ability to join our team. For this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure client branding is consistent, appealing and meets the creative brief. You should also have experience executing design projects from conception to production. If you have the ability to convey messages and information through illustrations, graphics and patterns, we'd like to meet you.

  • Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery
  • Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
  • Review junior designers' work to ensure high quality
  • Support, mentor and train offshore designers
  • Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software
  • Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products.
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to think narratively, creating sequences that illuminate user stories through the lens of UI mixed with other visuals (photography, video, motion graphics).
  • Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced consistently and creatively.
  • Communicate and be able to justify conceptual and directional choices.
  • Be accountable for excellent execution.
  • Demonstrate continuous visible progress based on feedback.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Quality control: Independently create improved approaches for organizing and constructing templates and toolkits.
  • Growth mindset: Embrace challenges and consistently work in demanding, uncertain, and/or highly constrained situations.
  • Strategic design thinker, creative, and at same time execution oriented.
  • Strong business and marketing acumen. Results oriented.
  • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to resolve diverse problems.
  • Excellent collaborator and team-player spirit.
  • Conceptual ability - the ability to take written words and turn them into high quality mockups and art.
  • Visual storytelling

Requirements

  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field
  • 5+ years of proven graphic designing experience
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
