How you'll make an impact

We have an exciting opportunity to drive, lead and deliver intuitive, adviser facing digital solutions across the North platform and customer mobile app. Focusing on high quality B2B experiences, you will own the end-to-end design of a new, market-first digital initiative, ensuring solutions align with our strategic objectives and meet the needs of financial advice businesses, advisers, and their clients. *This opportunity is for a 12 month fixed term contract with view to go permanent at the end of the term.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will lead UX/UI delivery across multiple value streams while coaching and mentoring designers and influencing cross functional stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.

With a strong customer first mindset, you will ensure design activities are embedded into delivery plans, lead the execution of design work, and support successful implementation through close collaboration with product, technology and delivery teams. You will also play a key role in evolving and embedding our design systems, standards and processes, championing best practice and ensuring consistent adoption across design, development and broader stakeholder groups. Provide ongoing input into the development and embedment of our design systems & processes. Champion our customer-first design system adoption and ongoing governance. Coach and mentor other team members and cross-functional teams. Lead UX/UI activities and oversee the end-to-end design process across multiple product value streams and development squads. Support planning, development, testing, change management and go-to-market activities. Conduct user research & usability testing. Map/optimize journeys and mitigate experience risks.

Develop wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes around financial adviser and customer needs.

What you will bring to the team

Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role: 8+ year's design experience in relevant a professional role and working across a busy, customer/client service orientated team environment and/or financial service industry and driving a cooperative, high performance culture 5+ yrs experience and a component understanding of wealth management and end-to-end business operations Appropriate tertiary qualifications or preparedness to undergo studies in design, business or finance desirable Proven ability to work in an agile, flexible environment
