About this role

Job Description

Who We Are

[REDACTED] is a fast-growing orthodontic organization operating across multiple locations in the United States. We are building scalable training systems to improve operational consistency, employee performance, and frontline execution across our teams.

We are looking for a Remote Instructional Designer & Training Content Developer to help us turn real operational workflows, SOPs, and day-to-day processes into clear, engaging, and practical learning content.

About the Role

This is a remote offshore role for candidates based outside the United States.

This is not a traditional academic training role. It is a hands-on, execution-focused production role for someone who enjoys creating short, visual, easy-to-understand training content that employees can apply quickly in real work situations.

The ideal candidate is creative, fast, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable using AI and modern eLearning tools, and able to simplify complex information into practical video trainings, micro-learning modules, quizzes, screen recordings, and scenario-based learning.

You will help create training that supports frontline healthcare teams, improves operational consistency, reduces repeated mistakes, and helps employees understand what "good execution" looks like in real situations.

Essential Functions

  • Design and produce short-form visual training modules for frontline operational teams.
  • Convert SOPs, workflows, and operational processes into engaging micro-learning content.
  • Create video trainings, screen recordings, animated explainers, quizzes, and scenario-based learning modules.
  • Develop practical Do / Don't examples to help employees understand expectations clearly.
  • Build training content using tools such as Articulate, Rise, Vyond, Camtasia, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Use AI tools to support storyboarding, scriptwriting, voiceovers, quiz creation, and content production.
  • Maintain training consistency, branding standards, and version control across materials.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders and Learning & Development team members to improve training quality.
  • Revise training content based on feedback, audit findings, employee performance issues, or operational gaps.
  • Manage assigned deadlines and production schedules independently.
  • Upload or organize completed modules in the LMS, Microsoft SharePoint, or other internal systems as needed.

Production Expectations

This is a high-output creative production role.

The expected production target is:

  • Minimum of 2 completed video or visual training modules per business day.

Training modules may include:

  • SOP walkthroughs
  • Scenario-based learning
  • Video explainers
  • Screen recordings
  • Quizzes
  • Process simulations
  • Frontline coaching examples

Performance will be measured by:

  • Production volume
  • Content quality
  • Speed of execution
  • Revision accuracy
  • Operational usability
  • Deadline consistency

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning, training content development, multimedia learning production, or similar work.
  • Strong portfolio with examples of visual learning content, video trainings, eLearning modules, screen recordings, or training materials.
  • Experience creating training for frontline employees, healthcare teams, retail, hospitality, customer service, operations, or fast-paced work environments is preferred.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into short, engaging, practical content.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Comfortable working with deadlines, feedback, revisions, and high-volume content production.
  • Experience working remotely with U.S.-based teams is preferred.

Preferred Tools & Software

Experience with some or all of the following is strongly preferred:

  • Articulate 360
  • Rise
  • Camtasia
  • Vyond
  • Canva
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • LMS platforms
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • AI productivity tools for scripting, storyboarding, voiceovers, quizzes, and training development

Application Requirements

All applicants must submit:

  • Resume
  • Portfolio or sample links showing training, video, eLearning, or visual content work
  • LinkedIn profile
  • List of software/tools personally used
  • Internet speed confirmation

Compensation

Compensation starts at $2,000 USD per month and may vary based on experience, portfolio quality, tool proficiency, interview evaluation, and overall role fit.
