📋 Description
- Write the course content
- Review, adapt, and develop existing materials to design a fully self-paced curriculum for learners
- Author lessons, explanations, worked examples, activities, and assessments to the agreed template, structure, and quality standards
- Write to the relevant iGCSE and International A-Level specifications, exam-board requirements, and mark schemes, ensuring content is accurate, complete, and exam-aligned
- Design a mixture of assessment — some that suits self-paced learners, with auto-marked and self-checking questions giving learners instant feedback, alongside key pieces throughout the course that deliver teacher-based feedback
- Structure and sequence content for independent, self-paced learners with low teacher contact — using chunking, scaffolding, retrieval practice, and purposeful digital interactions to keep learners moving, thinking, and motivated without a live teacher
- Build courses within school systems to the agreed template and brand, using the available technology to create a polished, consistent learner journey
- Build a suite of multi-modal resources to bring courses to life — video lessons, voiceovers, screencasts, interactive tools, knowledge checks, and other digital learning assets — alongside the written material
- Work to a production schedule, hitting agreed milestones for each course on a delivery-linked contract
- Submit drafts for editorial / QA review and sign-off, and revise efficiently on feedback.
🎯 Requirements

- Experience working with an LMS / VLE
- Willing and able to record video lessons and voiceovers, comfortable on camera and mic
- Awareness of accessibility and inclusion (SEND, WCAG, readability)
- Self-motivated and self-managing — works to deadlines, comfortable working remotely and autonomously, and confident taking ownership of a course from initial specification through to finished build.
