About this role
A premier healthcare association ([REDACTED]) in Northern Virginia is seeking a versatile Application Developer to create cutting-edge mobile applications, interactive websites, and dynamic educational programs. The ideal candidate will be deeply familiar with the latest application development tools and frameworks to design, develop, and maintain cross-platform applications utilized by the healthcare community and internal staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-impact applications, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, providing frictionless user experiences that maximize usability and adoption.
- Test, debug, and maintain applications to ensure optimal performance, accessibility, security, and mobile responsiveness.
- Configure robust APIs and web services to seamlessly pass data between cross-platform and third-party systems.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging mobile technology trends, frameworks, and security protocols, actively incorporating them into the development process.
Core Skillsets & Technical Expertise
- Expertise in building Web Native Apps using modern frameworks; experience developing Native iOS Apps is highly advantageous.
- Mastery of UI/UX and frontend user interfaces utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, MVC/Visual Studio, or similar industry tools.
- Deep proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript with a strong, foundational grasp of typography, grid systems, and Mobile-First Design.
- Proven experience working with complex data-driven interfaces, mobile SDKs, and APIs.
- Proficiency writing complex SQL queries and working with cloud-based Association Management Systems (iMIS EMS is strongly preferred).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be substituted for education).
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in professional application development.
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel) along with a strong working understanding of Google Workspace and Zoom.

Pay: $78,519.09 - $94,560.62 per year
