By completing this curriculum to the standards of the IxDF Educational Codex, Nathalia Azevedo Sousa da Silva has demonstrated mastery of how to:
Apply continuous discovery to keep user research happening every sprint.
Design from the outside in so engineering can start building while design details are being finalized.
Slice features into smaller, shippable pieces that deliver real value to users.
Build minimum viable products (MVPs) that test whether a solution solves a user problem.
Write acceptance criteria that align the entire team on what "done" means.
Plan with Now/Next/Later lean roadmaps that prioritize problems over features.
Use Initiative Documents to align teams around shared goals, outcomes, and success criteria.
Iterate and refactor designs based on user feedback.
Share research through video rolls, snackable content, information radiators, and sprint demos.
Run participatory design sessions using techniques like card sorting and co-design.
Use design systems to maintain consistency across features when working in small pieces.
Manage beta testing groups and partial rollouts using feature flags to ship safely and gather feedback.
Distinguish between innovation and incremental improvement and choose the right research approach for each.
Identify and address agile anti-patterns like AgileFall, feature factories, design as a separate service organization, feeding the beast, and complete chaos.
Collaborate across disciplines on cross-functional agile teams.
Navigate agile jargon like backlogs, user stories, epics, sprints, standups, and retrospectives.
Adapt to agile at any scale, from small teams using Kanban to large organizations using SAFe and Scrum of Scrums.
