A snippet about the book found on Amazon:
"...Forget dry, technical material. This book—based on the wildly popular UX Crash Course from Joel Marsh’s blog The Hipper Element—is laced with the author's snarky brand of humor, and teaches UX in a simple, practical way. Becoming a professional doesn’t have to be boring...
[some topics covered are:]
Start from scratch: the fundamentals of UX
Research the weird and wonderful things users do
The process and science of making anything user-friendly
Use size, color, and layout to help and influence users
Plan and create wireframes
Make your designs feel engaging and persuasive
Measure how your design works in the real world
Find out what a UX designer does all day"
*You can purchase the book on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/UX-Beginners-Crash-Course-L...
Or check your local library to see if they have it for borrowing!
*Please note that this is NOT a sponsored book or event. We chose this book for its broad scope and writing style. This Amazon link is NOT attributed, and is simply to help you find the book more easily!
I can’t wait to see you all there!!!

An IxDF Local Group is a meeting point for people with a passion for design in your city.
You don't need to be a designer, just passionate about great design and how it can improve your work and career.
Meetups are the heartbeat of IxDF Local Groups, whether we meet at a café, a creative space or a local company. There's nothing quite like the magic of meeting face-to-face to share ideas and inspiration.
We also host regular IxDF Design Dinners, where we enjoy great food and help each other learn and grow. Even a simple coffee meetup in a café can ignite collaborations and friendships that last a lifetime.
You'll also have a private and exclusive online forum where you can openly get help and career advice.
Simply put, we learn together and smile together.
You'll expand your career network, discover new skills, explore job opportunities, meet potential clients, or even find your next dedicated team member when you join an xDF Local Group.
