Afraid I won't be able to create a meeting in Teams. Resorting to the free version of Zoom - which is limited to 40 minutes.

I need to collect my kids from school at 2pm, so had to move the time, again, apologies.

For those that can make it the details are as follows:

Topic: IxDF Sheffield October Meet

Time: Oct 2, 2020 02:00 PM London

Join Zoom Meeting

Meeting ID: 727 8903 3748

Passcode: 65hxz3

Happy to move back a week if that works for those who want to attend.

Look forward to hopefully meeting some of you on Friday.

Thanks,

Christian

Update 23/09/20

Hi,

Moving this back a week as I'm having issues creating a meeting in MS Teams. Failing that I'll create something in Zoom or equivalent and post the details in here.

Shortened the session to an hour also.

Hope this is okay and apologies for any inconvenience.

Thanks,

Christian

----------------

Hi Everyone,

Many apologies for not being in touch for so long!

I wanted to see if anyone is interested in a monthly online meetup? Maybe on the last Friday of every month at 3pm for 60 to 90 minutes?

I can arrange a Teams meet, or more than happy to use something else if that works for the group.

If you're interested, please let me know, and I can get an invite out.

We could use the first meetup as an opportunity to get to know one another.

I hope everyone is safe and well and look forward to seeing you all soon.

Thanks,

Christian

    Hi Angel,

I've moved the time back a week and shortened to an hour. Be great to speak to you even if you can only drop in for a short while.

    Thanks

Questions? We've Got Answers

What is an IxDF Local Group and why should I join one?

An IxDF Local Group is a meeting point for people with a passion for design in your city.

You don't need to be a designer, just passionate about great design and how it can improve your work and career.

Meetups are the heartbeat of IxDF Local Groups, whether we meet at a café, a creative space or a local company. There's nothing quite like the magic of meeting face-to-face to share ideas and inspiration.

We also host regular IxDF Design Dinners, where we enjoy great food and help each other learn and grow. Even a simple coffee meetup in a café can ignite collaborations and friendships that last a lifetime.

You'll also have a private and exclusive online forum where you can openly get help and career advice.

Simply put, we learn together and smile together.

You'll expand your career network, discover new skills, explore job opportunities, meet potential clients, or even find your next dedicated team member when you join an xDF Local Group.

Remember: Your network is your net worth.

What goes on in an IxDF Local Group?

Your IxDF Local Group is led by an IxDF Local Leader and serves as a vibrant hub where you can network, learn and grow.

Here's what you can expect:

  • A community of professionals from all walks of life, who share a passion for great design and how it can benefit their career, their company, and society in general.
