Meet-up in the center of Copenhagen - let's practice giving and receiving think-aloud-webpage-testing

Add to your calendar:

Hello, my name is Lisca. I work in Bolius as a project leader and I would like to invite you to bring some projects, you would like to test and in return take a look at some webpages, we have build.

I imagine gathering about 3-5 people. We will be doing the usertest in danish and if you're taking the course as a user researcher, as I am, I am sure, we will have a lot to talk about concerning methods, how to find test audience, when to do what sort of testing and so on. So maybe an afternoon, 2-3 hours or so.

Here in Bolius we would like to test some new webpages - around medio march. Our site is for house owners, so if you fit that category, it will be an extra plus.

I am looking forward to hear from you,

greetings, Lisca

    Hi Lisca,

Sounds exciting! I would be happy to join - but cannot take time off work at that date. If there will be another time after work hours I would be interested to participate :) Have a good testing day!

    Best regards,

    Natalia

Hello Natalia, I am sure, we can find another time after work hours (from 17.00-19.00 for example?) to meet and share knowledge and do some user research. I will look in the calender for an opportunity, when we have some more website-prototypes ready for test. And of course, you can bring something from your workplace as well.

Have a nice day and thank you for showing interest! Greetings, Lisca

Hello everyone interested in this meetup: Am I right, when I suggest, that the perhaps most important key to this arrangement would be keeping everything in english?

If yes, I will do my best, even though I don't always know the right terms for talking about user experience, but I will give it at try, if it means, that all of you will show up and participate - either as interviewees or in informal group discussions about how to get hold of people, that are willing to test things and how to conduct good test-interviews.

    And we have great coffee!!

    Greetings, Lisca

Hi Lisca, I just noticed this discussion here only today. (I didn’t scroll down). My danish is a bit limited. I can’t fully express myself in Danish.. so I’m not sure if I’m what you’re looking for. You know, in case you will be analysing word by word... But I’m available on 22nd March and do own half a house with a yard. It all sounds interesting.. I’m between jobs since this March and have time meetups and interesting projects. Best Regards, Ville Rautajoki

Hi everyone, we need more time to prototype, so I am changing the date to 22. th og march at 10.00-13.00

We will have at least 3 webpages to test, so you are welcome to participate as an interviewee and not nessesarily bring something from your company, that needs testing. I will be be conducting a qualitative interview in danish for each site about the experience our websites gives you.

Let me know, if you're interested in participating.

    Greetings, Lisca

Hi William & Ville, thank you for showing interest in the meetup.

    • What do you think of the setup? How will the meetup be relevant for your work?
    • What kind of designs do you have in mind to bring for testing?
    • And what sort of method would give you the best feedback to take with you back to where you work?

I will be presenting three articles with specific themes and ask you to think aloud about, what you see and what you make of it, either pretending to be a houseowner or actually relate to themes about the garden, your lawn and how couples talk about economy in the household. I imagine that each test will be about 10-15 minutes per webpage.

My organisation, Bolius, is non-profit and my background is as a master of arts in rhetoric.

I work in our digital department with developers, but do not write any code myself.

I am looking forward to hear from you, greetings from Lisca
