Last night we had an insightful and interactive UX meetup at IxDF Limassol, and it was a real pleasure to see so many thoughtful conversations, shared experiences and new connections. Here is what we covered:
🎙️ Lightning Talks: 1️⃣ Sergei Brit – 'Research is Just a Tool' Sergei shared a personal and relatable journey: from worrying he didn't do enough research to realizing that meaningful research often looks different from textbook definitions. A refreshing take on making research part of real work. 2️⃣ Julia Albul – 'Triangulation in UX Research' Julia walked us through the value of combining multiple research methods to get more reliable insights. One source of data can have gaps, triangulation gives us the full picture.
💬 Open Discussions & Experience Sharing We had some great participant contributions on working with limited resources, creative research strategies, generously shared tips, tools and lessons from their own research practice, sparking some great follow-up questions and reflections from the group.
🧠 Collaborative FigJam Activity To wrap up, we worked together to build research method combinations for real UX scenarios, then introduced wildcard constraints like budget cuts, stakeholder pressure or remote-only testing. The creativity was flowing and the outcomes were both smart and grounded.
