Let's meet online and discuss UX!

In our video call, i'd like to get to know each other and share UX problems we’re facing and discuss how we can solve them.

Teenaa koutou katoa!

As a Toastmaster, we normally use ZOOM for virtual meetings so i've never used Google Hangout - but i'm keen to give it a try. I believe there is a limit of 10-people, which is cool, start off with a small number - i'll be stoked if anyone has a half-hour spare this weekend.

I have been in IT for a decade in many roles and am looking to make a serious push into a UX based career - I also love designing/creating things, always had a passion for design/art but never pursued it.

Please use this discussion thread to discuss IDF Auckland Online Hangout held on Sep 12, 2020.

Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Hello bro, that's great. I will see you to discuss about UX. I think that another important issue is financial subjects about UX designers to getting projects in Covid-19 days.

Teenaa koe Ehsan! Thanks for reaching out - forgive me for not being considerate about other timezones - I see you are approx 8 hours behind my local time. I selfishly chose a time that would work for me and completely forgot to think about others. After all it will be a virtual catch up so pretty much anyone can join.

I am happy to push the time out a few hours to accommodate, depending on who's interested and from where. I will wait for responses and finalise any changes to the time tonight - in approx 8 hours time.

Questions? We've Got Answers

What is an IxDF Local Group and why should I join one?

An IxDF Local Group is a meeting point for people with a passion for design in your city.

You don't need to be a designer, just passionate about great design and how it can improve your work and career.

Meetups are the heartbeat of IxDF Local Groups, whether we meet at a café, a creative space or a local company. There's nothing quite like the magic of meeting face-to-face to share ideas and inspiration.

We also host regular IxDF Design Dinners, where we enjoy great food and help each other learn and grow. Even a simple coffee meetup in a café can ignite collaborations and friendships that last a lifetime.

You'll also have a private and exclusive online forum where you can openly get help and career advice.

Simply put, we learn together and smile together.

You'll expand your career network, discover new skills, explore job opportunities, meet potential clients, or even find your next dedicated team member when you join an xDF Local Group.

Remember: Your network is your net worth.
