    Bom, acredito que o intuito é seguirmos daqui né.

    Sou Nicholas, trabalho como DesignOps e minha dor hoje é a falta de maturidade de design na minha e em outras empresas. Isso torna o “ser designer” bem mais complexo e joga a gnt em um lugar onde realizar e validar nosso rabalho se torna sempre mais complicado e moroso.

    Maturidade de design…é um dos nossos desafios, né? Vejo de duas perspectivas: 1. o ônus tedioso e irritante do não entendimento, adoção e valorização do design por parte de clientes e até pessoas do seu time. 2. o bônus de ser você a agente transformadora que vai criar abertura (ou aproveitar a que já existe) para transmitir a mentalidade, métodos e técnicas de design para as organizações. Conflitante. Transito entre momentos mais pra um ou mais pra outro.

    Hoje passo por esse desafio e costumo sempre interpretar como a opção dois. Ser agente de transformação na maturidade traz um contento profissional que somado com o valor do Design, pra mim, resulta em orgulho e muita motivação. E mesmo quando as coisas acabam pendendo pra 1, eu tento transformar isso em mais gás, mas lógico, todos temos grandes momentos de frustração. Acho que faz parte, né?

    Creio que uma das maiores dores que tive foi justamente a frustração de lutar como time de design para sermos reconhecidos como peça fundamental para o desenvolvimento de produtos e no final voltarmos para o ponto zero. Por outro lado, quando a empresa reconhece e começa a ver os resultados de um bom processo de design é maravilhoso e muito empolgante.

    Uma dor que tenho é a desvalorização do designer.

    Ser designer vai muito além de técnica. Também é preciso conhecimento de muitas outras áreas, como a da psicologia.

    Daí, quando vejo vagas, grande parte são com salários baixos que não valem o investimento que fizemos. Ou, quando tem o salário melhor, desejam que exercemos mais de um cargo. Por exemplo, ser designer e front-end.

    Alguém também tem essa sensação?
