First Meetup - Contexto del diseñador y backlog de la comunidad
Hola a todxs!
Soy LEOnides Delgado. Llevo más de 20 años trabajando en diseño de experiencia — desde equipos de uno hasta organizaciones de 70 personas. Diseñando desde startups, agencias de diseño, consultorías y big companies; en todo ese tiempo aprendí algo que nadie te enseña en los cursos:
Para mí… el diseño vive en cada punto de contacto entre una persona y el mundo que la rodea. Esa convicción es la que me trajo hasta aquí, primero como Local Leader de IxDF Mexico City y ahora como Country Manager de esta organización.
¿Qué es esta comunidad?
IxDF Mexico City es el espacio donde se reúnen todas las disciplinas que hacen posible el Experience Design. UX, UI, research, diseño de servicios, diseño de producto, content design, estrategia — todas tienen un lugar en esta conversación.
No creamos otra comunidad de best practices de manual. Creamos un espacio para compartir lo que realmente funciona, lo que no funcionó, y cómo seguimos evolucionando la disciplina desde adentro.

Nuestra Intención
Queremos que IxDF Mexico City sea el lugar al que acudes cuando tienes una pregunta difícil, cuando quieres celebrar un win con contexto real, cuando necesitas un peer que entienda tu trabajo sin que tengas que explicar desde cero qué es el diseño.
También hablaremos de algo que pocas comunidades abordan honestamente: cómo mostrar el valor de lo que hacemos en cada interacción — no solo en el delivery final, no solo en la presentación bonita. En cada decisión, en cada conversación, en cada propuesta.
Y sí, hablaremos de IA. No con miedo, no con hype. Como lo que puede ser: nuestra dupla, nuestro peer de diseño — si sabemos usarla bien.

Portfolio reviews where you get honest, practical feedback
Coffee meetups and design dinners with open conversations about where the industry is heading
Any member can propose, organize and post a meetup. You don't have to wait for your Local Leader to take the initiative.
What stays consistent is the people. You'll find designers and professionals who ask good questions, share what they know, and show up for each other between meetups too.
