I’m Mike, a digital designer/photographer who’s recently discovered the fascinating field of UX design.
It would be great to meet other fellow designers who may be already be working in the field and would like to share their own experience/tips, as well as others who are simply just starting out like myself. I think most of us could benefit something from it by sharing UX design insights and resources or just chat about anything else UX/design related, really :)

Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.
Unfortunately I am unable to organize/attend any meet ups for the next couple of weeks as out of BCN. Feel free however to go ahead and create a meet up if you want! I’m sure there will be people interested :)
For this first meet up that happened last week I only publicized here on the IDF platform.
However as an organizer, once you do create an event you should then also receive an email with some tips from the IDF community on how to best carry that forward (ie. also recommending to publicize through other channels like FB or LI too, for example).
Only a couple of people attended, however was still great to connect and exchange our stories/experiences. Hopefully more people will be able to join the next ones!
I will aim to organize another meetup for next week in the afternoon. For those interested, stay tuned for more details to follow.
As mentioned, it will be informal and chilled with no strict agenda to follow on this occasion. The idea is just to introduce ourselves and share a bit of what we’re doing in the world of UX/design, connect with other fellow designers, see what positive and interesting tips, learnings and/or connections we can leave with… whilst enjoying a good cup of coffee :)
Based on tomorrow’s response, we can then collect feedback and suggest ideas for more structured/themed future meetups.
