Hello Bath Royal Literary & Scientific Institution is building a Virtual BRLSI during lockdown. A new website is planned and this course promises to inform that process, which is why I've signed up for it.
What have we done so far : Linked to the existing site https://www.brlsi.org/ we have our youtube channel with almost 50 videos of a series of interviews: some local, with colleagues from the two Bath Universities, and some international, such as David Haywood's conversation with the writer Tim Mackintosh-Smith in Yemen. Our efforts include poetry readings, virtual exhibitions, a series of philosophy talks on the Meaning of Existence and a polished presentation from Belgrade on Culture as a Fundamental Explanation of Economic Growth. BRLSI is always looking for skilled volunteers to help with a range of tasks. Please get in touch if you are interested in web design, video editing or historical research.
