AI has fundamentally changed how we create software — what does that mean for interaction designers?

Hey, it's Oisin here! While we continue to look for a dedicated location in Eindhoven for in-person meetups, I've got to open up the conversation about designing digital experiences with AI tools. I've been deep in the weeds exploring new methods and workflows as a UX/UI designer, and I'm sure I'm not the only one amazed by what's now possible. I really want to show you what I've learned and discuss it together.
Grab a coffee, log in from wherever you are, and let's talk about it.
This Month's Focus: Agent Orchestration for Design — From Figma to Fullstack
The way we were taught to design is shifting. Many of us trained on the Figma-to-handoff pipeline — wireframes, prototypes, design systems, and then waiting for engineers to build what we envisioned. That workflow served us well, but a new one is emerging.
With tools like Claude Code and multi-agent orchestration, designers can now use natural language to create fully functioning frontend experiences — not just mockups, but real, deployable code stored on GitHub and hosted on Vercel. This means higher-quality feedback from users and clients in a fraction of the time, because what they're reviewing isn't a prototype — it's the real thing.
This session explores what agent orchestration for design means in practice: how it changes our level of output, what it looks like when designers are equipped with these tools, and what it means for how we collaborate with development teams.
Session Agenda:
👋 Quick intros
🎓 Tutorial: My AI design workflow — the thinking behind it
🖥️ Live demo: Designing and deploying a UI using natural language
🛠️ Setup guide: How to get Claude Code, GitHub, and Vercel working together
💬 Open conversation (last 30 min): Exploring how we can design user interfaces with natural language, store them on GitHub, and deploy to Vercel — and what this means for our craft
You'll leave with:
Insight from a practicing UX/UI designer who is using these tools daily — acting as UX researcher, business analyst, UI designer, and frontend developer within a development team, creating client-ready products
Steps to set up your own AI-assisted design workflow
A new sense of where the boundaries are for what a designer is capable of in frontend development
A reference guide with links and resources to help you get equipped with these tools and start making an impact in your team
