In this Master Class, you will:

Get excited about this hands-on Master Class where you’ll master how to apply AI to real design system tasks. This session will be 1:30 h. You’ll learn where AI works and where it doesn't, practice structuring effective prompts, and understand how to evaluate and refine outputs to reduce manual work while maintaining quality and governance standards.
Make yourself invaluable and combine AI efficiency with critical judgment. In this session. you’ll gain hand-on experience working in real life design systems tasks. With this experience you’ll be able to scale your impact across component libraries, accessibility reviews, and contribution workflows while knowing when to automate and when to apply human expertise.
Gain confidence and credibility through hands-on practice with real design system scenarios. Leave with proven prompts, evaluation frameworks, and integration strategies you can apply immediately to your work and get ahead in your career.

This is a unique Master Class with a workshop format! It's 90 minutes and fully hands-on, giving you time to apply AI techniques to actual design system tasks. You'll choose one focus area (audits, documentation, or contributions) and work through it using provided materials or your own component examples. You'll need access to ChatGPT or a similar AI tool, and optionally Figma and basic text or spreadsheet software.

Jarvis Moore is a Senior Design Lead, Design Systems at Microsoft with expertise in design systems and user-centric experiences. He is also a Founding Member of Black UX Labs, aiming to diversify the tech industry through education and creating opportunities for black designers. As a speaker, mentor, and teacher, Jarvis uses his unconventional path into tech to inspire others, showing them that a degree is not necessary to achieve their dreams.

Outside of work, Jarvis is father of three. He is also a hobbyist photographer and an avid sneaker collector, appreciating the artistry and craftsmanship behind each unique design. Jarvis often incorporates elements of sneaker culture into his design work.
