Steven Poltrock is a retired Technical Fellow of The Boeing Company, where he worked in Boeing Research & Technology until 2009. His research addressed computer supported cooperative work, with a focus on industrial applications of collaboration technology. With Jonathan Grudin he co-authored the Computer Supported Cooperative Work chapter of The Encyclopedia of Human-Computer Interaction and a chapter on taxonomy and theory in CSCW for The Oxford Handbook of Organizational Psychology (2012).
