Kristina Höök is Professor of Interaction Design at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Her research focuses on soma design, an approach to interaction design that centres the body and aesthetic experience, set out in her book Designing with the Body: Somaesthetic Interaction Design (MIT Press, 2018). She has served as Editor-in-Chief of ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction, is a member of the SIGCHI Academy and received the 2025 SIGCHI Lifetime Service Award.
