Hugh Beyer is Chief Product Officer at Cohealo, Inc. He co-founded the user-centered design consultancy InContext Design and, with Karen Holtzblatt, co-authored Contextual Design: Defining Customer-Centered Systems (1998) and its second edition, Contextual Design: Design for Life. Earlier he was a developer at Digital Equipment Corporation. Since 2004 he has worked on integrating UX with Agile development, the subject of his book User-Centered Agile Methods (second edition, 2025).
