Web Designer

Job Overview

[REDACTED] is seeking a talented Web Designer to join our in-office team in St. Louis. This role is for a creative whose primary strength is web design — designing clean, effective, visually strong websites for clients across a variety of industries.

This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who wants ownership over web design while being a collaborative, easy-to-work-with part of a fast-moving creative team.

Applications submitted without a portfolio or work samples will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design websites for clients across a variety of industries
• Create layouts, visual systems, and UI design that translate clearly for development
• Translate strategy and messaging into clean, effective web design
• Collaborate closely with internal developers to ensure designs are built accurately and effectively
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines
• Collaborate closely with the web and design team members
• Occasional support on marketing design as needed
• Maintain consistency and quality across all client deliverables

Experience & Requirements

• 2+ years of professional web design experience
• A portfolio demonstrating strong web design work
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Prior experience handing designs off to developers is a plus
• Thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
