Duties

• Develop and execute innovative web designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular to create responsive, user-friendly websites.
• Design compelling graphics, logos, motion graphics, and visual UI/UX elements utilizing Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, and After Effects.
• Build wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with tools like Axure, Balsamiq, InVision, or Figma to visualize concepts and facilitate user research.
• Implement web accessibility standards and usability best practices to ensure inclusive digital experiences across all devices and platforms.
• Optimize websites for SEO performance using data analysis skills and web analytics tools like Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Maintain and update existing websites through content management systems such as Drupal or SharePoint while ensuring website management best practices.
• Collaborate with developers on front-end development tasks involving PHP, Python, Node.js, SQL databases like MySQL or SQL Server, and version control systems such as Git.
• Conduct user research to gather insights that inform design decisions; analyze data to improve web performance and user satisfaction.
• Manage website production workflows including layout design, information architecture, web production tasks, and website maintenance activities.

Experience

• Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing website projects featuring responsive web design and interaction design principles.
• Extensive knowledge of graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Adobe XD, After Effects, and Sketch.
• Hands-on experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular), Bootstrap, AJAX, and Node.js.
• Familiarity with content management systems like Drupal or SharePoint; experience managing website content is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles focusing on usability and accessibility in interaction design for diverse audiences.
• Ability to create prototypes using tools such as Axure or InVision; experience translating concepts into functional designs is essential.
• Data analysis skills using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to measure performance metrics; ability to interpret data for continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of web production processes including layout design, website management, website optimization for SEO purposes, and website maintenance routines.
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams including developers, marketers, and product managers; excellent communication skills are a must.

Pay: $30.68 - $35.93 per hour
