UX Writer (intern)

Role Overview:

[REDACTED] is seeking a talented individual who is passionate about writing and believes in the power of clear and user-friendly content to enhance user experience in software applications. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on various types of writing tasks, including UX writing, technical writing, and innovative writing for generative AI bots. Your role will involve collaborating with design, product, and customer education teams to ensure that the content you create enhances usability, accessibility, and overall user experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining style guides, content patterns, and documentation libraries, as well as advocating for content-driven design thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and refine clear, concise, and user-friendly interface copy for buttons, labels, alerts, flows, modals, and navigation.
• Collaborate with design, product, and customer education teams to ensure content enhances usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Learn and apply [REDACTED]'s voice and tone guidelines across product areas and digital touchpoints.
• Contribute to and maintain style guides, content patterns, and documentation libraries.
• Participate in content audits, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the platform.
• Learn UX writing best practices and advocate for content-driven design thinking.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in UX writing, UX content design, or related writing roles.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills with a portfolio of digital product work.
