About The Role
We are seeking a talented Mid-Level UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team based in Norwich. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge, data-driven platforms within the energy and infrastructure sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in embedding real user insights into product development processes, helping to reduce risks and deliver genuine value to customers. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of professional experience in UX/UI or Product Design roles. A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, problem discovery, and iterative development is essential. Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma is required. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively present insights and design decisions to diverse stakeholders. Additionally, experience conducting user research through interviews, usability testing, and workflow analysis will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging, user-friendly interfaces for complex, data-driven platforms, including dashboards, maps, and large datasets.
- Conduct user research activities such as interviews, usability testing, and workflow analysis to gather insights that inform design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and research teams to ensure designs align with user needs and business objectives.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate concepts and facilitate stakeholder feedback.
- Participate in design reviews and iterative testing to refine user interfaces and enhance usability.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems to ensure consistency across products.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to UX/UI design.
