UX/UI Designer
About this role
We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer for a hybrid, Brisbane-based role supporting the evolution of a market-leading digital platform within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
This is a hands-on role combining strategic design thinking, rapid prototyping and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive, user-centric experiences and help shape the future direction of the product.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the evolution of the product experience and identify opportunities for improvement
- Create wireframes, user flows and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape roadmap priorities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Facilitate workshops and communicate concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Own and evolve design systems, components and design standards
- Partner with developers to ensure design intent is delivered effectively
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in UX/UI or Product Design
- Proven experience leading design across digital products
- Advanced Figma skills including prototyping, auto-layout and component systems
- Strong understanding of user research and usability testing methodologies
- Experience working in startup, scale-up or high-growth environments
Highly Regarded
- Experience with Hotjar, FullStory, Maze or Mixpanel
- Exposure to React or component-based front-end architecture
- Experience within SaaS, 3D visualisation, architecture, engineering or construction industries
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
