📋 Description
- Independently scope, plan, and conduct mixed-method qualitative and quantitative research studies
- Navigate ambiguous research questions and deliver actionable, decision-ready recommendations
- Plan and moderate studies evaluating AI assistants, automated workflows, and self-service experiences
- Identify adoption barriers, trust issues, and validation needs before full rollout
- Maintain, extend, and apply Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD) frameworks across internal product initiatives
- Update research artifacts to align tool evaluations with the enterprise suite
- Develop recruitment screeners, test plans, participant criteria, and protocol materials
- Synthesize complex findings into executive-ready presentations, research artifacts, and stakeholder readouts
- Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Operations, and Service Management teams to validate tooling decisions and optimize workflows
- Document and maintain traceable research findings, decision logs, and insights in collaboration systems and research repositories
- Partner through launch, measurement, and post-implementation phases to track long-term impact
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on UX Research experience at a senior Individual Contributor (IC) level
- Proven autonomy in scoping, executing, and synthesizing studies
- Advanced skills in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Direct experience researching enterprise internal tools, employee experience (EX), or complex cross-functional operational workflows
- Demonstrated experience developing and applying Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD) or comparable strategic frameworks
- Hands-on experience with research platforms for participant recruitment, moderated/unmoderated testing, surveys, and insight synthesis/repository tools
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Product, Design, Engineering, and Operations teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience researching AI-enabled products, virtual assistants, or automation, focusing on user trust, validation behaviors, reliance, and rollout readiness
- Experience with employee experience platforms, IT Service Management (ITSM), self-service support, or enterprise collaboration platforms
- Proven track record of scaling or evolving a JTBD framework across diverse product and service areas
- History of shipping impactful research influencing enterprise tooling, AI adoption, or self-service efficiency
- Experience partnering with product teams through launch, measurement, and post-implementation phases
- Ability to collaborate with teams aligned to Eastern Time (ET) and overlap with North America business hours
- English required for interviews, documentation, and daily communication
