Lead UX Researcher

As a Senior Manager - Research at [REDACTED], your role will involve establishing the UX Research practice for your pods. You will collaborate closely with product and tech leadership to shape products, set clear methods, standards, and metrics for gathering qualitative and quantitative insights. Your responsibilities will include developing research awareness, skills for engaging learners, community, and experts, and discerning important insights for product or innovation practices. You will lead and coach a team of UX researchers, partner with various stakeholders to drive research stages, prioritize research efforts, and influence stakeholders through relationship building and domain expertise. Your focus will be on driving user experience strategy, designing and moderating research studies, using various research methods, and communicating findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach a team of UX researchers in various pods
• Partner with User Researchers, Design Leads, Product Managers, and Engineering managers to drive research stages
• Lead prioritization of research efforts and influence stakeholders
• Design, recruit, and moderate research studies regularly
• Use various research methods and tools to provide actionable insights
• Communicate research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders

Qualifications Required:

• 6+ years of experience as a User Research Leader
• Experience leading a team of at least 4 people
• Deep knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Excellent knowledge of UX standards and background in psychology, social sciences, or anthropology
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Hindi, English, and ideally one other relevant language
• Presentation skills to collaborate with team members across teams and geographies
• Experience working in an agile environment and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
