UX Research Analyst

Overview

[REDACTED] (BCC) is searching for UX Research Analyst that supports user-centered design and continuous improvement of ClinicalTrials.gov and the Sequence Read Archive (SRA)—two high-impact biomedical data resources maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). This role plans and coordinates user research activities, synthesizes qualitative and quantitative findings, and develops a Power BI–based user feedback dashboard to ensure insights from diverse scientific, clinical, and public users inform product decisions and system enhancements

User Research Operations

• Support research operations such as planning and scheduling user research sessions for ClinicalTrials.gov and SRA, including interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions with researchers, clinicians, data submitters, and members of the public.
• Recruit and communicate with participants across a wide range of biomedical and technical backgrounds, ensuring clear instructions and smooth session logistics.
• Manage consent, scheduling, session documentation, and research records in alignment with federal and NIH policies.

Data Collection and Synthesis

• Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from user sessions, surveys, support inquiries, and other feedback channels related to ClinicalTrials.gov and SRA.
