📋 Description

• Own and evolve [REDACTED]'s design system across its commerce ecosystem
• Establish visual language, interaction patterns, and reusable components for consistent, high-quality products
• Partner with Design and Engineering to implement the design system consistently across Figma and code
• Define and maintain design standards, governance, documentation, and contribution models
• Develop and maintain component libraries, design tokens, variables, and workflows
• Improve accessibility standards and UX patterns based on customer needs
• Partner with UX Design and Product teams on roadmap initiatives, design sprints, and vision work
• Champion AI-assisted design and design-to-code workflows
• Build alignment across Design, Product, and Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product, UX, Visual, or Experience Design
• Significant experience designing and evolving enterprise-scale design systems for complex digital products
• Expertise in design systems architecture, component libraries, design tokens, variables, interaction patterns, documentation, governance, and scalable contribution models
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a portfolio demonstrating polished product experiences and reusable system assets
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and design-to-code workflows
• Experience designing for desktop, responsive web, and native mobile experiences
• Deep understanding of design system implementation in code and front-end technologies
• Ability to define and evolve design languages, interaction models, UX standards, accessibility, and efficiency across products and teams
• Experience establishing interaction patterns and translating product innovations into scalable design system capabilities
• Strong systems thinking balancing immediate needs with long-term platform health and scalability
• Experience with Figma component libraries, variables, design tokens, and prototyping
• Outstanding communication and facilitation skills with a track record of alignment across Design, Product, and Engineering
• Preferred: experience in eCommerce, marketplaces, seller tools, SaaS, fintech, or complex product ecosystems
• Preferred: experience implementing AI-assisted design and development workflows
• Preferred: familiarity with gaming, hobby, or collectibles communities, particularly trading card games
