📋 Description

• Own product quality by identifying and fixing UX papercuts
• Build complex UI components such as a custom Taxonomic filter and Date-Time picker
• Expand the new component library
• Create a design system and reusable components for other developers
• Use AI tools to augment development, step into backend work when needed, and automate mundane tasks
• Iterate quickly in a tight feedback loop
• Prioritize user experience and delight users
• Design solutions and ship code from rough ideas without waiting for extensive specifications
• Make product decisions as part of an autonomous product team

🎯 Requirements

• Elite frontend skills and a refined design eye
• React expertise; Next.js or Remix experience is advantageous
• Strong Tailwind CSS skills
• Understanding of browser support quirks
• Portfolio, Twitter, or Dribbble demonstrating ability to build beautiful products
• Ability to articulate why one design works better than another
• Natural bias for user experience
• Track record of shipping quickly without breaking the product
• Frontend-heavy experience with willingness to work on backend tasks
• Comfort using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex
• Keen attention to detail regarding interaction design and visual quality
• Understanding of typography, whitespace, visual hierarchy, and color theory
• Understanding of the DOM, component lifecycles, and performance constraints
• Ability to build reusable, accessible, and performant components
• GitHub, resume/CV, and portfolio/personal website required for application
