UX Engineer
About this role
- This isn't a traditional product designer role, and it isn't a traditional front-end engineering role either
- We're looking for someone who can move seamlessly from customer problems to interaction design to production-ready prototypes — the connective tissue between product strategy, design, and engineering
- Own end-to-end UX design and rapid prototyping for new product initiatives, from concept through implementation-ready design
- Build interactive, near-production-quality prototypes using React, TypeScript, or similar frameworks to validate ideas before full engineering investment
- Partner with Engineering to validate technical feasibility early and reduce handoff friction
- Help establish and evolve reusable UI patterns, components, and [REDACTED]'s broader design system
- Advocate for usability, accessibility, and thoughtful interaction design across the platform
- Work alongside Product Managers to define customer experiences before development begins
- Facilitate cross-team alignment by making complex ideas tangible through prototypes and visual storytelling
