From creating user flows and wireframes to building mockups and prototypes, you will envision and bring product experiences to life with an inspired, refined, and magical feel. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, leveraging user insights to create industry-leading products.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the [REDACTED] design language to build beautiful, innovative products.

We are actively moving beyond simple insights into agentic AI solutions—orchestrating systems where autonomous agents can execute multi-step planning, automated buying, real-time campaign optimization, and data-driven troubleshooting across complex, cross-platform enterprise workflows.

We’re made up of multiple teams, building [REDACTED]’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable [REDACTED] to engage with customers at scale.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $132000 - $189000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Develop user journeys, mockups, prototypes, and presentations to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Translate complex workflows and system designs into elegant conceptual models.
  • Participate in and drive design reviews.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to strategize and build compelling user-centric goals, including organizing people and process for alignment.
  • Pitch and present concepts, proposals, and updates to executive stakeholders and translate complex concepts and interactions into simple, elegant, and coherent design.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in designing for AI-driven or conversational scenarios, as well as utilizing AI tools to streamline your own design workflow.
  • Ability to manage engaging priorities across multiple engineering teams and time zones, effectively collaborating to align on expectations and project goals.
  • Ability to analyze situations from a broader system level, with the potential and desire to lead complex product redesigns.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability of crafting compelling narratives rooted in user insights and data to explain design rationale and build consensus across various teams.

In accordance with Washington state law, we are highlighting our comprehensive benefits package, which is available to all eligible US based employees. Benefits for this role include:

  • Retirement Benefits: 401(k) with company match
  • Paid Time Off: 20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years of employment
  • Sick Time: 40 hours/year (increased to 69 hours/year for Seattle) including 5 discretionary sick days per instance
  • Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability + Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks
  • Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks
  • Holidays: 13 paid days per year
