📋 Description
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that communicate the user experience and functionality of games
- Design and iterate on game mechanics, player flows, and user interfaces
- Conduct user research to understand players’ needs and preferences
- Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights
- Work closely with game developers to ensure user experience is implemented to a high standard
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business goals and player feedback
- Help establish and maintain design standards for the studio
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging design patterns
🎯 Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer in the game industry
- A strong portfolio with at least one shipped mobile and PC game title
- Portfolio must be submitted to be considered
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and prototyping tools
- Experience with user research, A/B testing, feedback loops and data analysis
- Strong knowledge of game development, game design principles and developing interactive interfaces in game engine
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in user experience, graphic design or related field
- User research, usability testing, and data analysis experience
- Ability to be effective when research materials are not available
- A generalist game design background would be great
- Experience working on casual games would be great
