UX Designer

What you'll do

• Contribute to the end-to-end user experience for [REDACTED] apps, working from early ideas through launch and iteration. You'll help ensure experiences are intuitive, age-appropriate, fun, and safe for children.
• Design clear interaction flows and interfaces that encourage safe exploration and give children understandable, satisfying feedback.
• Apply thoughtful visual judgment to UI design, shaping layout, hierarchy, and interaction details to support clarity and ease of use.
• Design with parents in mind, helping ensure our products support trust, parental control, and transparency.
• Take part in child-focused playtesting with research and production partners, using observations to validate and improve UX decisions.
• Collaborate closely with design, art, and engineering partners to balance usability, visual style, and technical constraints.
• Advocate for clarity, accessibility, and simplicity in your work, helping ensure features and visuals support a positive, child-centric experience.
• Contribute to shared UX patterns and help improve consistency and quality across the product portfolio over time.

What we're looking for

This is a mid-level individual contributor role. We're looking for a confident UX designer who takes initiative, brings creative thinking to complex problems, and is comfortable leading UX work within a project or feature area.

Experience designing for children is welcomed and supported. You will have opportunities to build your understanding of child development through research, playtesting, and close collaboration with experienced partners.
