Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site UX Designer role based in Puducherry. The UX Designer will be responsible for understanding user needs, defining user journeys, and creating intuitive, accessible interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Daily tasks include conducting user research, facilitating design thinking workshops, developing wireframes and interactive prototypes, and collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and visual designers. The role also involves refining designs based on feedback and usability testing, maintaining design consistency across products, and contributing to the improvement of [REDACTED]'s design systems and best practices. The UX Designer will help align product experiences with business goals while ensuring a high-quality, user-centered outcome.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) skills to guide problem-solving and create user-centered solutions.
Candidates should possess solid User Research skills, including planning, conducting, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative studies.
Candidates should possess Visual Design skills, with the ability to craft clear layouts, typography, and interaction patterns that support usability.
Candidates should possess Prototyping skills, using tools to create wireframes and interactive prototypes for testing and validation.
Experience with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and basic knowledge of responsive web and mobile design.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate design decisions clearly, and incorporate feedback constructively.
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work, from research and ideation to final design and validation.
Bachelors degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with usability testing, design systems, and accessibility best practices is highly beneficial.
