📋 Description

• Own and drive user experience across key product areas from early concept through delivery and iteration
• Translate complex scientific workflows and data models into clear, intuitive, and scalable user experiences
• Create and communicate design solutions through user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes
• Leverage AI tools in the design workflow for rapid prototyping, exploration, and iteration
• Use research and data to inform decisions and identify and validate opportunities
• Evolve and extend the design system with components and patterns that improve consistency and speed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to carry design intent into implementation
• Present and defend design decisions to Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders
• Participate in design critiques and provide thoughtful feedback
• Champion user-centred design practices, including accessibility and responsive design

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end impact
• Proven ability to own complex problem spaces and deliver high-quality solutions independently within a cross-functional team
• Advanced skills in interaction design, information architecture, and visual communication
• Experience with design systems and component-based design
• Proficiency in [REDACTED] or equivalent design and prototyping tools
• Hands-on experience using AI to accelerate design workflows
• Understanding of user research methods and applying insights to design decisions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience designing for scientific or technical domains is an additional qualification
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and development workflows is an additional qualification
• Experience in Agile, Lean UX, or Design Thinking environments is an additional qualification
• Background in Product Design, Graphic Design, Fine Art, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is an additional qualification
