🎨 Senior UX Design Specialist

🌍 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior UX Design Specialist to join our product and engineering team. This role is ideal for a seasoned individual contributor who excels in creating intuitive, visually compelling, and user‑centric digital products.

You will lead design initiatives end‑to‑end—from conceptual exploration to high‑fidelity UI delivery—while collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and global stakeholders.

The Senior UX Design Specialist will play a critical role in shaping user experience strategies, elevating design quality, and contributing to the evolution of our design system and product vision.

🛠️ What You Will Do

• ✨ Lead the UI design vision for the product, ensuring pixel‑perfect quality, visual consistency, and a coherent design language across complex workflows
• ✨ Create high‑fidelity UI designs, interaction flows, responsive layouts, typography systems, and design specifications
• ✨ Partner with customers, product teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant, intuitive, and scalable user experiences
• ✨ Collaborate with engineering to ensure accurate implementation of UI elements and maintain design quality
• ✨ Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and design sprints to align on vision and direction
• ✨ Conduct usability testing, synthesize feedback, and drive iterative improvements throughout the product lifecycle
• ✨ Stay updated on industry trends, emerging UI technologies, tools, and UX methodologies to champion design excellence
• ✨ Contribute to internal design guidelines, documentation, and reusable patterns
• ✨ Balance user experience, business priorities, and technical constraints with a pragmatic, outcome‑focused mindset
• ✨ Participate in Agile ceremonies, supporting cross‑functional planning and delivery
• ✨ Champion design thinking and foster innovation in product features, interactions, and visual expression
• ✨ Conduct exploratory prototyping, PoCs, and creative experiments to validate new concepts
• ✨ Advocate for continuous enhancement of design quality, usability, and performance across all digital touchpoints

🌟 About You – The Ideal Senior Candidate

• ✅ Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
• ✅ Extensive experience designing UIs for complex products, with a strong portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end ownership
• ✅ Strong visual design skills with the ability to present and communicate design concepts to senior stakeholders and customers
• ✅ Deep understanding of low‑ and high‑fidelity design, prototyping workflows, and modern UI patterns
• ✅ Strong awareness of accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, and inclusive UI/UX practices
• ✅ Advanced proficiency in Figma and related design tools
• ✅ Experience conducting or analysing user research, usability testing, and observational studies
• ✅ Comfortable using tools such as Confluence, Jira, and collaboration platforms
• ✅ Solid understanding of Agile delivery models and close collaboration with engineering teams
• ✅ Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills in multicultural environments

• ➕ Experience in the travel or aviation domain or other complex enterprise environments
• ➕ Animation capabilities
• ➕ Ability to do web development and maintain working prototypes using HTML & CSS
• ➕ Good understanding of AngularJS
• ➕ Understanding of gitflow to maintain UI/UX repositories
• ➕ Ability to test for responsiveness and cross‑device compatibility
• ➕ Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and ability to implement and enforce them in designs
• ➕ Ability to work independently with accessibility experts to create compliant UX solutions
• ➕ Close collaboration with development teams across the software development lifecycle
• ➕ Ability to conduct self‑assessments and UI self‑audits
