📋 Description
- Own product UI/UX for client mobile and web apps from discovery through handoff across multiple engagements as needed
- Run client-facing design reviews, workshops, and async critique during US business hours
- Turn briefs into user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes
- Build and maintain design systems and component libraries
- Partner with PMs and engineers on scope, edge cases, empty states, loading, errors, accessibility, and platform conventions
- Produce build-ready Figma files with named layers, variants, auto-layout, redlines or tokens, and export-ready assets
- Use AI design and research tools to accelerate exploration and copy, reviewing outputs before client or sprint delivery
- Identify design risks early when briefs, timelines, product asks, or technical constraints conflict
🎯 Requirements
- 4+ years designing production mobile and/or web products that went live
- Portfolio showing full case studies with problem, constraints, design decisions, and shipped result
- Experience with client-facing design reviews and calls with founders or product owners
- Agency or consultancy experience preferred
- Figma fluency, including components, variants, auto-layout, variables or tokens, prototyping, shared libraries, and clean file structure
- Systems-thinking and experience designing reusable patterns, states, and edge cases
- Mobile and web literacy across iOS, Android, and responsive web
- Experience using AI design and research tools such as Figma AI, Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar
- English at C1 or above
- Availability for US-hours overlap through roughly 5 PM EST
- Ability to estimate honestly, surface blockers early, and complete commitments
