UI/UX Designer

About Summary:

[REDACTED] has established itself as a market leader in the collection, analysis and dissemination of data across several sports including Cricket, Tennis, Horse Racing and Football. We are now looking to enhance our suite of data driven products by adding a UI/UX Designer who can support the next stage of our growth strategy.

Job Description:

The business is looking to hire a mid-level designer who can take over day-to-day responsibility to provide UI and UX Design support to the Tennis team, ensuring that we develop consistent, user-friendly products based on our customers’ needs and competitive market intelligence while also supporting wider design initiatives and products across [REDACTED].

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Lead UI/UX Designer this role will initially focus on [REDACTED]’s customer facing products. This should include:

• Creating visually appealing, user-centred designs that align with the [REDACTED] Design system and each sport’s branding
• Working closely with Front End Engineers and Product Managers to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design mockups using [REDACTED]/[REDACTED] Creative Suite
• Using AI-powered tools to explore ideas, create designs and develop rapid prototypes
• Planning, organising and executing usability tests to inform design decisions.
• Creating user personas, journey maps, and other materials to communicate research findings.
• Developing and maintaining the [REDACTED] design system, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across all digital products.

Requirements:

• Ability to manage competing priorities and make progress on multiple projects in parallel.
• Good communication skills to participate in team meetings to gather input, present designs, and discuss project progress.
• Ability to adapt design requirements based on feedback from cross-functional teams.
• Experience in analysing research data to identify patterns, trends and key insights is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with key internal stakeholders and external clients
• A positive attitude and ambition to continue to learn and develop new skills to support rapid career progression
• At least 3 years experience in a similar design role
• A passion for sport, particularly horse racing and tennis, would be a plus but not essential
