Effective UI/UX design in the rapidly changing web development landscape and remains a critical challenge to many organisations. This is no different for us at [REDACTED], a global nonprofit working with a range of local and global media channels and building a variety of tech applications to serve our community. As our repository of design guidelines and digital assets grows, we are looking for a passionate volunteer to join us in building our first UI design system and putting structure into creativity. The team is led by our UI/UX Manager, a senior product design professional with experience leading UI/UX teams of various scales. As we’re at the start of our digital transformation journey, you will help us design internal applications to automate certain parts of our manual processes, thus helping [REDACTED] to have a larger social impact.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design
• Enthusiasm and commitment to [REDACTED]'s cause
• Strong interest in digital design, UI and products
• Sound organisational skills, teamwork and passion in learning
• Basic knowledge in front-end web development is helpful
• This is a remote project and there are no geographical restrictions for the role
• Must be able to work in timezone (GMT and within GMT +/- 3 hrs)
