UI/UX Designer

• Contract to Direct Hire
• Part time to start
• Remote (Must live in Las Vegas preferably or within the PST time zone USA)
• Pay: $40 - $46/ hour to start

What we're looking for

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-obsessed UX/UI designer to design intuitive, exciting, efficient, and on-brand interfaces to help members interact with them via their mobile app and responsive website. This is an incredible opportunity to work closely with our founding team to make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design excellent interfaces for the mobile app to meet feature requirements.
• Design excellent interfaces for the responsive website to meet feature requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering team to design with the intended platform and its capabilities in mind.
• Understand customers and build for them

Competencies

• A user-first mentality. Good design is invisible.
• Ridiculous attention to detail
• Obsession with efficiency. Speed is a feature.
• An ability to maintain brand consistency across contexts and mediums
• A good understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, and modern web architecture
• A good understanding of iOS app architecture and the APIs and capabilities exposed to developers by Apple
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
• Self-starting personality. You get genuinely excited about the prospect of improving our designs every day.
• Willing to dabble in other areas of design as needed - icons, graphics, etc.
• Familiarity with LottieFiles / After Effects
• Strong Figma chops

Qualifications

• A strong body of in-production work (show us something cool you've designed)
