UI/UX Designer

Location: Remote (United States) Job Type: Contract (with potential for full-time employment)

We're looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer who is passionate about creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. The right candidate may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into user-focused solutions.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
• Maintain and contribute to design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.
• Stay current with UI/UX trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional UI/UX design experience
• Expert proficiency in Figma is required
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design across web and mobile platforms
• Experience creating responsive, accessible, and scalable digital experiences
• Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-directed with strong time estimation instincts
• Honest about what you know and don't know

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing AI-powered features, conversational interfaces, or workflows that incorporate generative AI (Claude, and Codex)
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Slack, and Jira a plus
