UI UX Designer- Intern (Chennai)

About Role

We are looking for a passionate Digital Design intern to join a collaborative and an innovative team to create User-centric and interactive digital products in a fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for creating various design assets.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and work closely with the Stakeholders to meet out the day-to-day tasks
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver products that customers love.
• Creating Design elements like Icons, Vector graphics, other UI components etc.
• Create Graphic design elements from Product perspective.
• Create User centric designs by understanding the Business and Product requirements.
• Maintaining the Style guide, design patterns and the component library.
• Conduct in-depth research to understand the requirements and create wireframes.
• Design and create interactive prototypes

Skill Set and Requirements:

• Understanding of basics of Graphic Design and UI methodologies & principles
• Basic Understanding of UCA & UCD design process
• Should have experience with design software and wireframe tools.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• To have a portfolio to show case your designed projects that includes work with web/mobile applications.
• Team spirit; robust communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• To have the basic knowledge understanding of how to adapt the design for content management tools (e.g Wordpress, Wix etc.)
• To have a basic understanding about HTML & CSS & JS.
• To have knowledge about the Content management tools.
• Good Time management.

• Final year graduates can also apply.
• BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field.

Post Internship

Post Successful completion of the internship program, based on the performance, the candidate shall be absorbed into the organization as as a permanent employee in the software team at Industry Standards. .
