UI/UX Designer (App and Web) – Senior Associate

Role Description

This full time, remote UI/UX Designer (App and Web) Senior Associate role focuses on designing intuitive, accessible, and visually cohesive digital experiences across web and mobile applications. Day to day responsibilities include conducting user research, creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity UI designs, and collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders. The designer will define and maintain design systems, ensure consistent interaction patterns, and advocate for best practices in usability and accessibility. The role also involves translating complex IT and AI solution requirements into clear, user-friendly interfaces and iterating based on feedback, analytics, and usability testing.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in user interface design and interaction design for web and mobile applications, including layout, typography, colour, and component design.
• Experience with user experience research methods such as interviews, surveys, persona creation, journey mapping, and usability testing.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and familiarity with creating design systems and style guides.
• Understanding of front end capabilities and constraints (e.g., HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, user centered flows and information architecture.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles for web and mobile products.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, including presenting design decisions and rationale.
• Demonstrated experience in designing interfaces for enterprise software, SaaS, or data-intensive applications; exposure to IT or AI products is a plus.
• Bachelors degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Portfolio showcasing end to end design work for both web and mobile applications, including problem framing, process, and outcomes.
