📋 Description

• Continuously learn and implement new and experimental features, technical art tools, and solutions for emerging visual and XR technologies
• Develop technical art solutions for interactive visual applications using established industry practices and technology
• Assist in developing 3D models, animations, animation rigs, UI designs, and textures using computer graphics software
• Incorporate models, animations, VFX, graphics, audio, video clips, and other graphic assets into realtime applications
• Develop art solutions for highly realistic renderings for VR/AR, Web, and Desktop 3D applications
• Develop artist tools and scripts in Maya and Unreal and Unity engines
• Collaborate with artists and developers to expand the 3D product library for realtime applications
• Collaborate with developers to create realtime visualizations that multidisciplinary teams can programmatically manipulate and use
• Maintain documentation of processes, workflows, and configurations
• Report progress and status of assigned tasks timely
• Work with medical education, developers, 3D animators, modelers, and artists in a team-driven environment
• Participate in determining success metrics and mentor lower-level personnel

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of professional experience
• Experience creating, integrating, or optimizing models, assets, graphics, lighting, materials, animations, animation rigs, skinning, and VFX with Unity and Unreal
• Understanding of preparing Engineering models from CAD software such as SolidWorks for realtime graphics applications
• Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git or PlasticSCM
• Understanding of tracking artistic solution development using Jira, Trello, or Cloud CMS
• Advanced knowledge of realtime applications and engines
• General knowledge of the 3D realtime art pipeline
• Knowledge of Maya, 3DS Max, ZBrush, Houdini, Adobe Substance 3D Suite, and Photoshop
• Proficiency in scripting, automation, and at least two of: art tool development, material nodes, rigging/skinning, VFX nodes, UI design, shader creation/modification
• Advanced knowledge of realtime graphics technologies including virtual geometry, dynamic lighting, global illumination, ray tracing, particle systems, supersampling, or custom shaders
• Experience with VR/AR rendering features, virtual production, or profiling and optimizing graphics
• Intermediate knowledge of automating art tasks, developing art pipelines, improving workflows, and reusing art through scripting
• Advanced knowledge of documentation practices
• Work under general direction and mentor lower-level personnel
• Bachelor's degree is preferred (not required)
