📋 Description

• Manage and support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of multimedia assets and interactive learning experiences for K-12 learners
• Lead and support a team of audio, visual, graphics, and animation developers
• Collaborate with curriculum development, product management, product delivery, and external partners
• Contribute to curriculum feature refinement and prioritization, including proof-of-concept definition and validation, MVP feedback analysis, and strategic partner needs
• Direct internal and vendor multimedia development teams in creating, testing, and implementing standards and requirements
• Plan, organize, and align resources and people for successful project execution
• Design visually appealing interactive products
• Apply knowledge of authoring and development tools to inform design solutions and instructional strategies
• Apply knowledge of state and national curriculum and NSQ standards
• Resolve complex content-area problems using advanced analytical judgment
• Assist with strategic business decisions and influence senior leaders
• Identify change initiatives and formulate implementation strategies across the organization and partner schools
• Establish internal and external relationships supporting department and company objectives
• Coach and manage internal and external teams to aggressive deadlines
• Minimize project portfolio risk through contingency planning
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, emerging technologies, and scalable production approaches in multimedia workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education, curriculum, or similar area preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of multimedia, graphics, or animation development experience required, with assets to support asynchronous virtual learning preferred
• Proven ability to lead a team, create a supportive work climate, and deliver results as a team
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines while producing highly accurate, accountable work; very detail-oriented; editing/proofreading/fact checking experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of education management systems, learning management systems, and/or content management systems
• Proficient with [REDACTED] Office and Azure DevOps; ability to learn other software programs and technology platforms quickly
• Flexibility, self-direction, creativity, strong communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
