You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to leverage user insights and create industry-leading products.

As a Visual Designer, you will rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution. You will collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the [REDACTED] design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

• Establish, advocate, and drive the multi-year evolution of the Material Design system and delivery efforts across all Android surfaces.
• Elevate practices, solutions, and visual/graphical effects by integrating new technologies and methodologies. Remain deeply versed in engineering needs and actively collaborate to bridge technical feasibility constraints with creative execution.
• Prepare, orchestrate, and manage executive-level storytelling and narratives for design systems, strategy, and creative direction.
• Demonstrate deep AI savviness by proactively leveraging emerging AI technologies, tools, and workflows to expand creative capabilities, streamline design execution, and scale output.
• Craft effective, scalable design guidance and principles that seamlessly support implementation, standardizations, and quality delivery across first-party (1P) and OEM partners.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
• Experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe).
• Experience designing visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color.
• A design portfolio showcasing graphic design work.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience in product design or UX.
• 5 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
• Experience with design systems, storytelling and typography.
