At [REDACTED], we "Focus on the user and all else will follow." Our Interaction Designers transform complex tasks into intuitive, easy-to-use experiences for billions of people. From creating user flows and wireframes to building mockups and prototypes, you will envision and bring product experiences to life with an inspired, refined, and magical feel. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, leveraging user insights to create industry-leading products.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the [REDACTED] design language to build beautiful, innovative products.

Gmail connects billions of people globally, helping them coordinate their lives and close major business agreements. We are on a mission to ensure every user has a safe, reliable, and intelligent inbox experience. Since so much of life flows through email, we have made Gemini a true partner in Gmail—organizing, summarizing, and extracting action items to help people reach their goals faster.

As a Staff UX Designer, you will shape Gmail's new AI Inbox surface, collaborating closely with teams across Gmail. To succeed in this highly ambiguous space, you should be comfortable prototyping and exploring how our models output content, translating complex AI behaviors into elegant, intuitive, and cohesive user journeys.

AI will change the future of work in profound ways, and our products— Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Vids and Meet are at the forefront. From pre-computed summaries for email threads, summaries for meetings, and videos created from a document using lifelike AI avatars, our AI opportunity is huge. Our mission is to meaningfully connect people so they can create, build, and grow together and as part of the team you can build how productivity tools should work 5-10 years into the future. You will work with model builders ([REDACTED] DeepMind), work with exceptional leaders, and have the ability to impact billions of users across the world.
